Baby Girl or Boy Myatt

Melanie writes:

so far we have

zoe madeline jane myatt (jane is a family name)
tessa lousie myatt (louise is a family name)
samuel “tate” myatt (samuel is a family name)

i am the one who chooses names like zoe, tessa and tate, and i am looking for something else along these lines for a girl or boy (i’m not sure yet if we will find out what we are having).

my husband loves, loves, loves using family names. some that are left: lucky, carter, james, dirk, lily and anne.

what i’m looking for is something that will sound good with the three names we have already AND a family name. i have an affinity for the southern two-name thing (my friend has “anna riley” and “india grace” and i love those but obviously, they are taken!).

i am happy to take any and all suggestions!

For a girl:

Ellery Anne
Iris Anne
Lily Anne
Lily Noelle
Kimball Anne
Macy Anne
Sadie Anne
Shelby Anne
Willa Anne

For a boy:

Carter Finn
Carter James
Carter Zane
James Hart
James Keane
James Wade
Wade Carter

For a girl, the one that jumps out at me is Sadie Grace. She could be “Sadie Grace” Anne Myatt. Very pretty.

For a boy, I like Carter “Rhys” Myatt and Caleb James Myatt.

    Good luck!

Ellery is a fantastic name! It trips off the tongue so nicely, and adding Anne is just a neat little period on the end. <3 Ellery.

P.S. In my original list I had “Wyatt.” I thought it was SO great with either James or Carter. Then I realized: Wyatt Myatt. Yeah. Not perfect.

Also love Swistle’s pick of Ellery Anne, so cute! Her boys pick of Carter James is a good one too and James Keane sounds pretty cool, he could go by his mn like his brother, Zoe, Tessa, Tate & Keane sound like a good bunch. Here are a couple more, for girls:
    Arden Rae Anne Myatt
    Bryn Carter Myatt
    for boys:
    Ronan James Myatt
    Owen Carter Myatt
    Nolan James Myatt
    Soren Carter Myatt
    Good Luck!

I like how Ellery Anne sounds, but it seems a little long with a Zoe, Tessa and Tate. Iris would be pretty awesome, and Lily would work too, but I don’t love Lily Anne. Maybe if there was another name it would work. And what about using Lucky for a girl? I’d also add for this sibset:
    Mia
    Isla
    Eva
    Eden
    Liza
    Carys
    Scarlet
    Reese

I think all the boy name suggestions are very fitting and any one would work, but I especially like Carter James and James Carter (they both work!)

For a girl: Anna Lily, or Lily Anne. Anna is close enough to Anne to be after someone, I think. If you called her by both names it gives you the double name you like and family names he likes. Or since you liked India, maybe another place name: Savannah Lily?

For a boy: Zachary Carter, Zachary James, Carter Royce, Royce Carter.

I thought of Macy also. I also like Sadie and Noelle. I’m having trouble coming up with girls’ names because I’m stuck on thinking you like short names but I can’t make them go with Anne or Lily. Maybe?
    Laney. Laney Anne Myatt
    Kelsey. Kelsey Anne Myatt
    Harper. Harper Lily Myatt

    Boys:
    Pierce. Pierce Carter Myatt
    Jay. Jay Lucky Myatt
    Beck. Beck James Myatt
    Reid. Reid Lucky Myatt

From Swistle’s list, Sadie jumped out as me, too. I also like the idea of Edie (nn for Eden, Edith), For a boy I’ll jump on the James bandwagon. Maybe James Reed/Reid?
