Campaign Merchandise; Flag

I ordered official Harris/Walz merch on September 12th, and it is still not here. I knew the friendship bracelets were a pre-order, but even those were going to be available September 24th, and the email confirmation said things might ship separately if anything was a pre-order. It is ONE MONTH until the election, and I would think the campaign would want me to be wearing my t-shirt and pins and so forth NOW!! And the friendship bracelets have updated to say they’re expected to be available October 15th!! I still want them, they’ll be a nice souvenir, but this is getting silly.

I was going to order some Harris/Walz yard signs (in our area, there has been a sudden depressing surge of Tr*mp signs), but I don’t have confidence they’ll arrive soon enough, so instead we ordered a 3’x5′ flag from Amazon, and it will be here Monday. I know, but on the other hand: Amazon also got me my Harris/Walz t-shirt within days. There are times when I avoid Amazon, for the greater good, and there are times I calculate the greater good differently.

I ordered my sign Aug 27 and it still hasn’t arrived even though they said it did. I’m using my 2020 sign that has been modified but I have to say it is a bit scammy for her campaign to have associated with this poor service.

I’ve been cranking out friendship bracelets to share far and wide, so email me if you’d like one. I have a ton of supplies and it will go out in Monday’s mail.

Girl, same. I pre-ordered the bracelets and it was for Sept. 25 and nada. A couple of days ago, I emailed for an update and got “we hear you and we are working as fast as we can … blah, blah, blah.” Sigh. I’m excited and want to wear my merch. And it’s now (assuming it ships the 15th) only going to be for a short time. I’m trying to stay positive and take it to mean they were so swamped they’re trying to stay on top of orders instead of assuming it’s some scammy bull.

Updating to say that today, I got notice that my order of friendship bracelets has been updated to “shipped.” I hope your order has also shipped.

I got an email today saying the friendship bracelets been shipped, a whole 18 days before the election! (The t-shirt and buttons are still not shipped.)

The email had a tracking number, which I tried today—and got a “status not available” error message. So I wonder if they actually shipped, or if they just printed the shipping label.

I got that same message too. Bracelets arrived today after their status changed to shipped on the 18th. So hopefully yours arrive soon!

It took a while for my “Harris Walz…Obviously” sign to arrive. Maybe a month? But it did finally come, and I’m delighted to now have it in my yard, pissing off my old while male neighbors.

GIRL. This has been driving me mad! I ordered a shirt for me and one for my husband like seven weeks and it is not here yet. Last week, I got a note that our yard sign was shipping and I DO have that in my yard but I’d really like to be wearing these shirts! I wanted to order from the campaign so I could put my $$ there but I ordered a Harris/Walz…OBVIOUSLY shirt for my turning 13 on Thursday child from an Etsy shop and I got it like three days after I ordered it. My husband keeps telling me the Will Rogers quote about, I don’t belong to an organized political party, I’m a Democrat, but I’m failing to see the humor more and more.

I will say this, though. We have one of our city reps living in our neighborhood and he made a post on our neighborhood Facebook page the other day saying that if we wanted any signs, he’d be happy to get them for us, so we got one for the doesn’t have a chance in hell woman running for Attorney General in our red state. So maybe the local democrat office?

I got the same “Harris/Walz OBVIOUSLY” sign from Etsy and it arrived within about a week. I actually bought two because we were fairly certain it would get stolen (because Texas), but it has NOT been stolen so that’s slightly encouraging.

Agree with Joanne, contact your local Democrat office OR reach out to the League of Women Voters in your area (start with LWV.org) and see if anyone has extra signs.

Leigh! I was *also* sure my Obviously sign would get stolen (I’m in Indiana). And…so far it has not been. Dare we take this as a sign of hope?

Where are the tweens and Swifties? They could be cranking those bracelets out! There’s no excuse for that kind of delay on the part of the campaign. ;-)

A depressing surge of Trump signs in my area, as well. I’m used to seeing them in other parts of my state (some folks are so invested they never even took down their 2016 signs), but not my little blue bubble. I was so hopeful for a while! And now the despair is starting to creep in. Need to head back to your election self-care post and bolster myself.

I ordered a yard sign from their site and knew it would take a while and it finally arrived this week. On Saturday the local county Democratic Party team was canvassing and dropped off another one – they said to just ask their local office for a sign in the future so that may be an option if you’re looking for a sign.

I ordered a mug and had it shipped to my brother’s house as a pseudo joke (he is for Harris, but our parents aren’t and I knew they’d be visiting) and it took WEEKS to get there. WEEKS. Well past my parents’ visit. Sigh.
I decided I didn’t care and ordered myself a shirt on Sept 2 (because campaigns need money and I want a shirt, so possible win win) and because we live overseas I had to use my APO address and the campaign site wouldn’t allow for it! I finally entered CA as the state because sometimes that will still get us our stuff, and then emailed them about it and they wrote back with a not super helpful answer. I got an email today saying that the shirt shipped, so that is fully over a month now. I am not holding out a ton of hope it will find me. But, BUT! My 6th grader is in a craft group at school and today she brought me home a HVRR1S WVLZ bracelet. I guess they were short on vowels, but I’m still wearing it anyway.

They have WHAT?? I need a flag! My whole street is Trump signs and flags, and only one neighbor has a Harris/Walz sign. I’m shy, but I’m going to get over that and hang a flag! (Disclaimer: I am very lucky to be living in a (blech) red dot in the middle of Illinois, so we are safely blue as a state. But still, I don’t want to get lumped in with the Trump voters! And I definitely can’t rest on my laurels during this election.)

By any chance do you remember the Woman Card from 2016? It was a comment by Trump at some point and Hillary Clinton’s campaign jumped RIGHT ON IT and made versions to sell. I bought one and it took literal *months* to arrive. I still have it and I’m glad I do BUT STILL.
