Doing My Best pointed out this great Groupon deal: $50 worth of Zazzle stuff for $25. I’m subscribed to Groupon but haven’t done any of the deals yet and am not quite clear how it works, but I’ve processed that you only have one day to buy the coupon, and I guess you pay up front and then redeem it later?
Anyway, I guess I will learn how to do it, because I need more stuff with my name on it. And if you’ve been thinking YOU need stuff with YOUR name on it, this is the moment.
AND there’s free shipping on $50+ through October 28st with code FREESHIPFORU. I don’t know if it works if your $50 worth of stuff costs $25, though.
Those are great! If I had a product it’d be a XXL sweatshirt that said, “Body by Starbucks”.
Thank you for the “Drops in the bucket” items!!!!! I will definitely be ordering as soon as I can whittle it down to somewhere near the amount of my Groupon =)!
Thank goodness I’m not the only one who doesn’t get how Groupon works! I get the emails and haven’t tried it ONCE because I don’t get it.
The couple of times I have ordered a groupon it has worked like this: I have paid for the Groupon, and, either later that day or the next day, I have received an email from Groupon telling me that the deal went through, or something like that, and that I could check my Groupon account to find it. So, just now, I went shopping at Zazzle to buy some AWESOME Swistle merchandise =), then I opened a new browser tab and went to the Groupon homepage, hovered over “My Stuff”, then clicked on “My Groupons”. I found my “$50 Groupon to Zazzle.com” on the list and clicked on “Print”, which popped up a new window. I didn’t actually print it, I just looked at the code when I came to the place on Zazzle checkout that asked for coupon codes or gift certificates. I typed in my code, and saw my balance due drop dramatically =).
Oh, I was able to use the free shipping code too even though my total wasn’t $50 after the Groupon. I did have to choose the “free shipping” option next to my items because they had chosen an $8.99 option for me on one of the things. I did see another Groupon for Zazzle today….but I can’t remember which city it was under. But it would be TOTALLY WORTH IT to look through all of those cities so that you could own Genuine Swistle merchandise from the “Drops In the Bucket” line =).
I ordered stickers and invites for my daughter’s first birthday party from Zazzle. Loved them and love Zazzle.
Hi Swistle,
My comment is completely unrelated to your post but I just have to ask. I’ve been peaking through your archives and I noticed that you always seem to be drinking DELICIOUS coffee. I’ve also noticed that you see to have “diet” and “full flavor” versions of those DELICIOUS-LOOKING coffee drinks.
Would you please share a few recipes and tricks to achieve those delicious results? I’m dying to know!!!
Naomi- I like flavored creamers, especially Italian Sweet Cream and anything chocolate. When I’m dieting, I often use Splenda and cocoa and skim milk.
Hurray! Some of my Zazzle stuff came yesterday! I have put the “drops in the bucket” magnets all over the house on anything they would stick to (and it has just occurred to me that I can use poster putty to stick them in the other places…), and I am planning on ordering more of those the next time there is a good coupon/sale and giving them to every overwhelmed woman I know! My “today’s goal” bag also came, and it is WONDERFUL! Much larger than I was expecting (because I have no skill at gauging sizes and was too lazy to pull out a measuring apparatus…). Now I’m just waiting for my “bucket” mug to arrive =). And if you put “bucket magnet 2” on a shirt, I will definitely add that to my next order! Do I get a prize for being your first Zazzle orderer =)? Thanks again for designing the “drops in the bucket” things!!!
Doing My Best- Oh please PLEASE can we??? I haven’t done a care package in SO LONG, and I’m DYING to do one! And Zazzle won’t let me turn the commission to zero %, so I have some money (FROM YOU) burning a hole in my pocket! Email me your address RIGHT NOW so I can get started! And do you have any food allergies, or can I BAKE AT WILL?
