Personality

I was like, “How come I’m such a total doll this morning?” I even made muffins with THREE helpers and didn’t get crabby. Then I remembered I woke up with a headache and took Excedrin for it. Excedrin = caffeinated. Thus my cheery disposition. No actual personality improvement has taken place.

Speaking of personality, it was a good thing I went into overloaded shut-down mode with anxiety over the flower situation, because my friend came home from the hospital yesterday. So if I HAD gotten flowers, she would have had to GO BACK TO THE HOSPITAL TO GET THEM OMG. Let’s all take a moment to appreciate flawed psyches and how they occasionally work FOR us rather than AGAINST us.

Yes, flawed psyches are GOOD sometimes. My major procrastination has served me well (hey, this icky project I was dreading got cancelled!).

Glad your friend is already out of the hospital!

Laughing at the thought of your friend going back to the hospital to get the flowers you so agonized over. :)

Excedrin does amazing things to my ambition level. Not such great things to my reasoning processes. The last time I took some, I ended up walking half a mile across an interstate to get to church because I thought the car would run out of gas which it wouldn’t have. So, yeah, stick close to home and make muffins!

ah, caffiene, the warm, fuzzy magic that is you.

what did people DO before aspirin was invented? I would have run stark raving MAD.

maybe i should go off caffeine, because then when i DID have caffeine it would make me happier.

that’s some messed up logic right there, self.

Mmmm, caffeine is yummy and magical. I have been getting withdrawal headaches though, if I am even LATE with the morning cup of coffee. This seems worrisome, but so far my solution has been to drink MORE.

    Caffeine gives me the heebie-jeebie-all-overs.

But I love the idea of ridding the planet of my terrible bitchy morning self (Oh, man. It was bad today.)with something as simple as Excedrin.

Too bad that I don’t think it would work for me. *Sigh*

Oh, I agree about the Excedrine. I’ve mentioned it on my blog and for awhile I was getting more hits for the keywords “snorting excedrine” than anything else! Heee.

Also, I have a dental phobia, which just saved me thousands b/c I was too panicked to go to this stupid Endodontist (specialist), so they looked a little deeper and decided my regular dentist could take care of the problem after all. Phobia, working in my favor. LOVE! =) It’s about the ONLY benefit, no???
