Reminder! The contests end Friday morning, May 2nd, U.S.A. time. Because I can’t be more specific about the time (there are mornings when I get to my computer pretty quick, and there are mornings I have to dig myself out of a household of wet sheets and spilled cereal and children who must be bathed immediately), it would be smart to think of tonight as the deadline. Don’t dally! The minute I post on Friday morning, any comments that come in after that time won’t be entered in the contests.
(I briefly posted the Pity Prize Contest, then realized that the comments for that one were nearly guaranteed to give hints about what my name was, or wasn’t. I’ll re-post that contest sometime after the others are over.)
Can I just get a pity prize because my life totally sucks right now?
I plan to email you for realz in the near future, but my compy time is way limited these days – long, sordid tale, I assure you – but anyway, I’m excited about your contests and wowed by the crazy amounts of comments! How cool is that? Also, I’m bummed that I missed out on contributing a picture. Freaking disappointed.
You might have already said this in the comments somewhere (which I have not yet read), but what is this other site you’ll be writing for? Congrats!

Swistle, I have always said that you are my favorite blogger and judging by the number of comments in these contest posts, you surely are a favorite of so many others. This is the most fun I’ve ever had blogging.
I woke up this morning and in a PANIC remembered that I hadn’t submitted my names. I rushed downstairs and BEFORE I FED MY CHILDREN hurried to get them submitted. This may have gotten out of hand for me.
After mulling over my choices and finally voting last night, I went to bed. Then I dreamed about it (contest) and you all night. I kept thinking I made the wrong choice and it would offend you. (Although in reality, I’m sure you’re totally getting a kick out of this.) Weird.
I can’t wait to see where else you are blogging now. As you know I’m a LONG time follower, and I stalk you where ever you go. (I mean that in a good way, really.)
Tammy- You know, that would be kind of a fun contest. Wasn’t there an old TV show (“Queen for a Day” or something?) that awarded prizes to the woman with the worst life?

OMG, I’m dying to go to bed (just on 11pm over here) but I keep dicking around on the net and checking in Bloglines every so often thinking “SURELY Swistle’s announcement will drop in soon”. I’m glad I’m not the only desperado. PLEASE post asap so I can get some sleep!
