While You Wait

My RSS reader has been painfully empty the last week or so. If you, too, are hitting refresh every few minutes, perhaps you’d like to go visit my brick-and-mortar friend Astarte, who started up a blog after I wore her down with my incessant nagging. Astarte and I have been friends since high school, and she is my go-to girl when I’m FREAKING OUT about something.

And you could go visit Katie and see her exciting news.

You could go tell me what kind of expensive face stuff I should buy before Paul has time to regret his offer (I don’t think he knows how much face stuff can run to).

You could go give an opinion on a baby name. Nobody likes Lawson? I knew such a cute boy in high school named Lawson (hi, Jonathan!).

You could go fill out Sarah’s funny Would You Rather? survey.

You could go tell another of my brick-and-mortar friends, Mairzy, what mental image you get when you think of someone nice. (Dark blonde hair and green eyes, right?)

You could go see this tea and tell me if you think it’s worth risking. It looks kind of yummy, but I’m not sure I want to buy 100 teabags without trying it first.

There. That’ll keep us busy for a few minutes while other people compose their posts to entertain us.

I use Google Reader, but it too has been painfully quiet this weekend. So THANK YOU for giving me something to do!

I think you should buy some lovely toffee and then eat it while drinking tea. If you only eat a small chunk, it shouldn’t totally ruin you diet, right?

Ooohh, I hear from many people that you should try that Bare Minerals makeup. My friend Madeline actually pressed not only the info material on me but the VIDEO as well!!! I actually may try it pretty soon – the older I get, the more I feel like I may need to spackle on a new face.

Ugh, I am SO not a tea person, unless it’s iced. Hot tea is so… hot watery. However, when I do on the rare occasion drink tea, I stick to the fruity kinds. Coffee runs through my veins like mud.

I was about to come over here to Swistle and do my big “anonymous pregnant person reveal!” But I couldn’t figure out how to do it! Thanks, Swistle!

Hey, I think that tea looks pretty good. I’m a coffee girl myself, but every night before I go to bed I drink tea with honey and I’m always on the lookout for something new. Please try some and review it for us!!

Y’all are welcome over at my quiet blog too – I think I may have a total readership of 2 by this point. Come on over and say hi if you get the chance. Have a good Sunday everybody.

Hey – wait! That’s one step away from calling me a Brick (wait for it…) HOUSE! EEoow! Boom chick-a-boom-chick-a-waa-waa… oops, wait, now I’m old.:)

Also, I have to say, the word verification thingie wants me to type ‘asufvqk’. Sound it out, girlfriend! What kind of establishment is this?! Ha!

I actually like that tea, although I’m not I like it enough to buy 100 teabags’ worth. Maybe it’s at a local grocery store? I drank it at my mother-in-law’s house and she lives in the middle of nowhere, so it’s pretty widely available.

I really like being able to save money by buying stuff in bulk from Amazon, but I wish they also had the option of buying just one box. They have all sorts of stuff I’d like to try, but don’t want to get stuck trying to finish off a case of something I don’t like.

That’s pretty cheap for 100 teabags, right? It sounds good to me. I like that brand’s chocolate caramel flavor (it doesn’t taste sweet or anything, but the smell is wonderful), and I love love love their blueberry flavor. I think the ingredients are something like “blueberries.” Mmmmmm.

What do you mean, your RSS reader is empty? Mine is the plague of my existence because I just cannot keep up. You must live in some sort of alternate universe.

I’ve had that tea and liked it. Because of the toffee flavour, I felt it needed a spot of milk and just a little sugar to make it delicious (I usually drink my tea black). The smell is yummy.

Lady Grey tea is the best tea. THE BEST. Only made by Twinings, I think they have some kind of patent on it.
