Our Kelsey is in the hospital for pre-term pregnancy complications. Our Samantha is just home from the hospital and on bed rest for the same thing. Would you be darlings and go leave them a bolstering comment or two?
Oh girls! You are in my prayers!! I had pregnancy complications with both of my babies and they had to stop labor at 31 weeks both times. With the second my placenta was tearing off the uterine wall, so I know it’s scary! But both are healthy happy and beautiful as I know your sweet babies will be! You’re strong mommas! Know you are thought of and shoulder and foot rubs go a long way…
Swistle: thanks so much. Everyone coming over has been so sweet and it means a lot. I’m obsessed with email now that I’m just laying on the couch, and meeting new people is even more fun!
Hugs (but not too hard, don’t want to push the kid out!)
Ugh, it’s so scary to be in that situation. When the doctors told me they were delivering our triplets the day before I would have been 31 weeks pregnant, I remember feeling more scared and helpless than I’ve ever felt in my entire life.
THANKFULLY there is amazing medicine, technology and experience to help when babies come early. But it’s best when they stay PUT.
Hospital bedrest sucks. I found that the days passed by more quickly if I scheduled my day (i.e. at 7:30 I will eat breakfast, at 8:00 I will read, etc…) Also, get as many visitors as you can! Thankfully I was able to access the internet on my laptop as well.
My twins were born at 31 weeks with no major complications. They were in the NICU for about 5 weeks, but thankfully they really just needed some time to grow. Now they are 11 months old, and you would never know they were preemies, so have heart! It’s scary, I know. I’m praying for you!

Oh, those dear girls. :( No more complaining from me!
Swistle – you are so sweet to send out a call for well-wishes. Also, the title of this post is very touching.

Thanks for linking to them, Swistle! I know Kelsey will appreciate all the comments.
