Oh! So here I was, thinking diet talk and phobia talk must be REALLY BORING and/or that no one loved me, and instead I find out that it is Blogger or possibly my spam filter who do not love me, because I am supposed to be getting every comment sent to me in an email but OH I AM NOT! I was getting SOME of them–but I thought there were about 20 comments on the breakfast post and about 15 on the underwater largeness phobia post, and I WAS SO WRONG.
Edit: And the blame goes to . . . *opens envelope* . . . spam filter! Almost a hundred messages in my spam folder. NICE. Do you know how many suggestive subject headings I had to wade through to dig all those out? I need a shower.
That happened to me once. It resolved itself pretty quickly (a day or two), but it was a total bummer.
We’re here..rooting you on…whether or not Blogger wants you to know about it!
And here I thought you were ignoring my witty comments or that they were not worthy of posting to! ;) (note: I am totally kidding) (I know I am witty, I don’t need Swistle to make me feel pretty and popular!) (no, really) (Ok, really going now)
Yeah, I am not getting my comments all e-mailed to me, either. Just random ones.
On those other posts – dieting with company is a great strategy. Oh, and I vote for a high protien and complex carb breakfast. :-)
This happens to me too, and what’s worse is that our spam filter has CHANGED how it operates, and now I don’t know how to go in there and say “Hey dumbass, this isn’t spam, I accept this address”, and do you think I EVER think to ask David about it? No. Never.
Our lives, they are SO HARD. =)
EDIT: change that last comment from “Our lives” to “MY life”. That’s what I meant to say.
Man, sometimes this form of communication is HARD. Just like MY LIFE. *sigh*
This happens to me SO OFTEN that I’ve gotten into the habit of checking my comments section occasionally, and not just the emails. What really hacks me off is the possibility that I’ve missed comments on OLDER posts that I DON’T check.
Isn’t that weird? That has happened to me before, too. I get some comments in the inbox and others go to junk. We still love you, though.
And Tessie has it! What if we’re getting *gasp* comments on old posts and NOT KNOWING IT?
My email has recently been sending my comments to spam too, and I have NO idea why. Pain in the ass Blogger.
I commented on Lisa’s post because I’m afraid of deep water, too. I don’t seem to have a fear of the LARGE things in the water, more of the suffocating, drowning, crushing aspect of deep water. I’m also afraid of outer space. I think this stems from one of two things 1) my mother’s fear of deep water or 2) my older brother’s insistence that I watch “The Abyss” when I was 8 years old… hmmm…
Leave it to email. I always check my “spam” folder just in case. That’s always where the bank and student loan emails end up.
No worries.
You are not boring.
You are loved.
How’s that diet going?
Got any inspiration for the masses yet?
Blogger has been sending some comments to my bulk folder too, but it appears to be random.
Also: you should never doubt our love!
And I thought it would be Blogger, because Blogger has been really a jerk these days with the html code instead of just “doing” the pictures and the italics. I mean, it’s really all too much.
Yeah, gmail likes to randomly decide emails that you were previously receiving and reading are suddenly spam. Just because. You know, as a sort of bonus. Maybe they don’t like blogs?
I always check my spam filter when my comments go way down. Alas, it’s usually empty.
Did you mark all as “not spam”?
My spam filter has been all haywire too, and I don’t even use Blogger! Hmmpph.
That happened to me once. I dragged myself around all day feeling so unloved and then I realized I wasn’t being e-mailed ANY of my comments!
