I vote for Milo, because there is this awesome song that I know that goes like this…
“Milo is your best friend He’s your second cousin. All roads lead to him, He’s the rising sun. Milo is a long, long way from home. Milo is a name you won’t forget. Milo I haven’t met yet.”
It is a great song by a great band called Matt the Electrician. You should download it.
I like Henry too- both are good, but I lean towards Henry because of that movie Milo and Otis. Remember that, with the dog and the cat who take the adventure together? Kind of like a really old Homeward Bound. So Milo makes me think of a pet’s name. But I’m sure I’d get over it! (That didn’t make you cry, did it?)
I vote Henry. It seems solid and nice, masculine but sweet. Milo reminds me of Milo and Otis (which I love, but, you know). I also see Henry working well from babyhood to adulthood.
I think Milo sounds a little softer and more suited for a baby, but Henry could hold up better over time. Milo is also a hot chocolate drink in New Zealand called Milo (it’s delicious!) Now can I ask you a question? I’m expecting in 8 weeks and we don’t know if it’s a boy or a girl. We have a boy’s name but no girl’s name. Evelyn Eve Gwen
I really like them both. I know a Milo and think he is an adorable baby. I don’t know any Henry’s but I can totally see it as a baby name. I don’t think either are bad choices and I think both are good choices. How is that for fence sitting?
Henry. Milo is the name of some animal on a kids movie (Milo and Otis) so that name reminds me that. Henry sounds more..umm. regal. However, don’t know your last name and how it will “flow” together.
If this were your first or only child, I might pick Milo because I really do like it. However, Henry is a much better fit with your other kids names. And I love Henry too! I actually know two people who just named little boys Henry and I never thought of it as a baby’s name before, but I love it now. If you go Milo people might be like, Robert, William, Elizabeth, Edward, Milo???? But I also think you should pick a name you love.
When we first talked about the name Harper my mom said, “Is that even a name?” Still we went with it because we feel in love with it.
Milo makes me think of the movie as well, but I don’t necessarily think that’s good or bad.
Sad to say, Milo is a brand of tuna in Morocco and that’s all that I can think of (said Me-lo). By default, the choice is Henry, but its so overused right now. Just like Isabella was about three or four years ago… (or still is for all I know)
Henry, which doesn’t have to become Hank if you don’t want it to. Henry is classic, a cute cuddly boy with great big eyes and a shy smile.
I say no to Milo b/c of Milo & Otis, but also b/c it seems easier to rhyme with in the bad way that kids do to torment one another. (Milo, Silo, Rhino, Dino, etc)
I vote for Henry, because Milo makes me think of 1. a movie called Milo & Otis, where Milo was the cat and Otis was the dog. 2. a good friend’s black cat called Milo.
Plus, Milo is a lot more likely to be mispronounced, and as the bearer of an often-mispronounced name, there’s something to be said for phonetic simplicity ;)
A little late to the party here, but my vote is for Milo. Henry seems to be everywhere right now (not necessarily a problem, of course). I also like that Milo has a unique end-sound. Seems so many boy names end with a “n” or “ee” sound. Especially handy in a large family!

So yeah, I vote for Milo
both names are good but i prefer henry. i imagined a sweet little boy when i read the name. i also think it goes well with your other kids names.
Henry. I like the classic, down to earth, sounding name. Just has a nice feel – Henry.
I like Henry too- both are good, but I lean towards Henry because of that movie Milo and Otis. Remember that, with the dog and the cat who take the adventure together? Kind of like a really old Homeward Bound. So Milo makes me think of a pet’s name. But I’m sure I’d get over it!

Someone I work with just named her son Milo! He’s a cute baby.
That’s all. I don’t have a preference either way.
I choose Henry, because Milo reminds me of a fortified hot chocolate drink. Henry reminds me of Harrison Ford. Mmm…need I say more?
I vote Henry. It seems solid and nice, masculine but sweet. Milo reminds me of Milo and Otis (which I love, but, you know). I also see Henry working well from babyhood to adulthood.
I like them both, personally. It would depend on which goes better with your other kids names and your last name.
But if I *had* to pick, I’d go with Henry because I’d call him Hank for fun.
I like Milo, personally. It does make me think of the movie Milo and Otis, but I like names that are a little bit different.
I think Milo sounds a little softer and more suited for a baby, but Henry could hold up better over time. Milo is also a hot chocolate drink in New Zealand called Milo (it’s delicious!)

Evelyn
Eve
Gwen
anything?
Thanks!
Oooh Henry, definitely. Something very strong and yet soft at heart about that name.
I’m voting for Henry as it was **my** choice for a boy name, 3 times but I ended up with 3 girls and Henrietta wasn’t cutting it.
Milo is my SIL’s much-older husband so I wouldn’t even consider it. He’s in his 80s so I consider it a “nice old guy name.”
Just my thoughts…
(Coming out of the woodwork to say) I think Henry will age well. Cute for a baby, distinguished for a man.
No particular reason, I just like Henry better.
Henry-goes well with your family names. Brings nice images to mind of cute boy and handsome man.
I like Milo better, but they are both very good names.
I vote Henry because I swore one of your kids WAS Henry, which just proves that it fits right in.
Henry. It seems to go best with your other kids’ names and, yeah, the “Milo and Otis” thing.
I really like them both. I know a Milo and think he is an adorable baby. I don’t know any Henry’s but I can totally see it as a baby name. I don’t think either are bad choices and I think both are good choices. How is that for fence sitting?
Milo! Milo is so cool.
Henry. Milo is the name of some animal on a kids movie (Milo and Otis) so that name reminds me that. Henry sounds more..umm. regal. However, don’t know your last name and how it will “flow” together.
I really think it depends on how each name goes with your last name, but that aside, I like Henry better.
I’ll delurk to add my vote for Henry. I also think of the movie when I hear Milo.
If this were your first or only child, I might pick Milo because I really do like it. However, Henry is a much better fit with your other kids names. And I love Henry too! I agree that Henry flows with the names of your other children.
Milo!
Just because I like it. :)
Henry – classic.
Milo. I say Milo because if Henry (which is a good name) becomes Hank…well, I’m not crazy about Hank. Yank. Hank. Nope.
Don’t hate me if you choose Henry. Henry is also a lovely name. Give me a fence, I’ll sit on it.
Henry every time! Henry is such nice flexible name – can be Hank, or Hal. You’re pre-selecting him for an elevated position in adult life, too.
Henry! “Old-Fashioned” names are so in. It is a timeless name that he won’t outgrow.
I like Henry better, it reminds me of my nephew Harry (Harrison) who is just a really neat kid.
I love Milo, but Henry goes better with your other names. So my vote goes to Henry.
I like both, but I lean towards Milo… only b/c my friend has a dog named Henry and I call him Hankipoo.
Henry. Because I can picture a little Henry running around in the backyard. :) Possibly picking up sticks.
Henry. So Henry. Solid, traditional, distinguished. Milo…eh, it won’t sound right in 10 years. (Is it M-eye-lo or Meelo?)
